Pursuant to Public Service Commission rule, Evergy Missouri Metro, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri Metro has filed its 2020 Renewable Energy Standard (RES) Compliance Report and 2021 RES Compliance Plan with the Missouri Public Service Commission.

Evergy Metro also has requested a variance from a Commission rule regarding the provision of meter readings used in the calculation of payments to Renewable Energy Credit vendors.

The PSC Staff has been directed to file a report regarding the Company’s 2020 RES Compliance Report and 2021 RES Compliance Plan no later than June 1, 2021. Any other interested person or entity has until June 1, 2021, to file any comments. Any objection to the request for a variance should be filed no later than June 1, 2021.

Evergy Missouri Metro provides electric service to approximately 292,700 customers in 13 Missouri counties, including Carroll, Chariton, Howard, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline in the KMMO listening area.
