The Missouri Public Service commission has announced, pursuant to Public Service Commission rule, Evergy Missouri West, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri West has filed its 2020 Renewable Energy Standard (RES) Compliance Report and 2021 RES Compliance Plan with the Missouri Public Service Commission.

The company has also requested a variance from a Commission rule regarding the provision of meter readings used in the calculation of payments to Renewable Energy Credit vendors.

The PSC Staff has been directed to file a report regarding the Company’s 2020 RES Compliance Report and 2021 RES Compliance Plan no later than June 1, 2021. Any other interested person or entity has until June 1, 2021, to file comments. Any objection to the request for a variance should be filed no later than June 1, 2021.

Evergy Missouri West provides electric service to approximately 347,400 customers. In the KMMO listening area that includes: Carroll, Johnson, Lafayette, and Pettis counties.
