A 43-year-old Sedalia man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Monday, April 19.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when Ajamu Gilmore slowed his westbound vehicle for traffic and was struck in the rear by a westbound freightliner, driven by 40-year-old Brady Douglas, of Kaiser.

While Douglas was not injured, Gilmore was transported by Pettis County ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment.

The crash happened at 3:08 p.m. on U.S. Highway 50 at Route O.
