Robert G. “Bob” Loges, 80, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma with Pastor Jacob Mueller officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.  Memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or family choice.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born June 19, 1940 in Sweet Springs, he was the son of the late Lambert Loges and Lucille Schelp Loges.  Bob lived in the Sweet Springs area his entire life and was a 1958 graduate of Sweet Springs High School.  In his younger years he drove a milk truck and helped in the construction of Interstate 70, but most of Bob’s life was doing what he loved, farming.  He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and had served on the Holy Cross School Board. He was active in the community including serving on the Emma Fair Board and Emma Civic Club.  Bob loved being a grandpa and his grandkids were extremely special and important to him.

He is survived by five daughters: Cindy Driver (Roger) of Concordia, Kim Frerking (Jeff) of Concordia, Melissa Storck (Jeff) of Concordia, Jennifer Rader (Eric) of Sweet Springs and Samira Grable (John) of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK; 11 grandchildren: Ashley Koch (R.J.), Josh Driver (Brooklin), Trent Driver (Ashley), Danielle Frerking, Kylie Frerking, Jenna Frerking (Keegan Honeycutt), Brad Storck, Derek Storck, Mikayla Storck, Maddex Grable and Caden Grable; six great- grandchildren: Jaxon Wood, Grayson Koch, Alayna Koch, Lawson Koch, Beckham Driver and Matthew Driver (who’s on the way); three siblings: Larry Loges, Ann Johnson and Stanley Loges, all of Sweet Springs; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
