Robert Edward Malan, age 67, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, May 10, 2021, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 13, at the First United Methodist Church New Life Center in Marshall. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. There will be no visitation.

Born July 22, 1953 in Marshall, he was the son of the late Paul E. Malan and Kathleen “Kitty” Boland Malan. Robert lived in Saline County his entire life and was a 1971 graduate of Malta Bend High School. On July 28, 1974 he married Sally Robertson who survives of the home. Robert was a lifelong farmer as well as owning and operating O.K. Tire Service and Malan Christmas Tree Farm at his home. Robert enjoyed spending time at their lake house at the Lake of the Ozarks with his wife and family.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, Sally, he is survived by three children: Steven Malan (Jody), Andrea Malan Alspach (Jon) and Susan Malan Gerlt (Sheldon), all of Saline County; four grandchildren: Jax Malan, Stella Malan, Juliet Alspach and Audrey Alspach; one brother, Doug Malan (Dianna) of Marshall; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister in infancy, Anna Marie Malan.
