Sweet Springs Alderman Trey Schleicher said the pool board voted on some changes for the 2021 season.

Unofficial minutes from the board of aldermen meeting on Thursday, May 13, say Schleicher said he would like to have admission prices set at $4 for age 3 and up; $3 for senior citizens- age 55 and up; $55 for individual and $160 for a family of four passes, with additional family members at $30. Two-hour pool parties are available for $125. Aldermen approved the rates.

In other news, aldermen approved Red Letter Management to manage the pool with a salary of $500.

Aldermen also green-lighted the hiring of Mackenzie Sims, Zapher Lea, Kyle Giffen, Leah Eagle, Allison Trautman and Rachel Mapes as certified lifeguards. Aldermen also approved hiring Arabella Bredehoeft, Makenna Bernard, Seth Rader and Bryce Butts pending certification.

The pool is scheduled to open on Saturday, May 29.
