A Lexington man is facing felony charges after the serving of a search warrant on Thursday, May 27.

According to a Lexington Police report, officers concluded an ongoing narcotics investigation with a narcotics search warrant on a residence in the 300 block of 15th Street. Through weeks of investigations and interviews with citizens and suspects, authorities applied for the warrant through Lafayette County Circuit Court.

At approximately 7 p.m., police officers, with assistance from the Narcotic Enforcement Team, executed the warrant and found two large marijuana grow houses inside the residence along with methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Wade Oneth was taken into custody.

According to court documents, Oneth is charged with a Class C Felony for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance; a Class E Felony for Keeping or Maintaining a Nuisance; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond is set at $7,500 cash or surety.

Oneth pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing on Friday, May 28. His next hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
