Bernard “Ray” Dotson, 60, of rural Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, July 14, in rural Concordia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 19, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs with Pastor Alan Mueller officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church or family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born June 2, 1961, in Sedalia, he was the son of the late Bernard Dotson and Betty Lou Chamberlin Dotson.  On February 21, 2004, he married Darlene Henley Cordes who survives of the home.  Ray lived in Pettis and Saline counties most of his life and worked at various places through the years.  He was a “jack of all trades and master of all.”  Ray was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs.

In addition to his wife, Darlene; he is survived by one daughter, Krystal Renee Hudgens of Wentzville; two step-sons, Robert Brian Cordes of Jefferson City and Michael Dean Cordes (Eva) of Minot, ND; nine grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Darby (Jerry) of Longwood, NC; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
