Some roadwork projects are scheduled to take place in Chariton County beginning Monday, July 26.

According to MoDOT, Route DD from Heath Lane to Blacksmith Avenue is scheduled to be closed for a culvert replacement from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily Monday, July 26 through Tuesday, July 27.

A pothole-patching project is scheduled to take place on Route E- from Highway 11 to Highway 5 from Monday, July 26 through Thursday, July 29.

Route DD is scheduled to be closed from Blacksmith Avenue to Marshall Road for culvert replacement from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28.

Route DD from Marshall Road to Bee Branch Avenue is scheduled to be closed for a culvert replacement from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 29.

Highway 139 remains closed for a bridge-replacement project at the Grand River Overflow Bridge through mid-August.
