The Cooper County Public Health Center is scheduled to hold a vaccination clinic in conjunction with registration events at Boonville High School and Laura Speed Elliott Middle School.

The Boonville High School Vaccination Clinic is set for 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, August 10, at BHS.

The BHS clinic will provide access to two immunizations:

1) MCV (Meningococcal vaccine); Students age 16 and over are eligible for their MCV booster, and it is required for high school seniors.

2) COVID-19 vaccine is available for anyone age 12 and up.

August 10 is Senior registration day, but all eligible students are welcome to take part in the vaccination clinic regardless of grade level.

The LSE Vaccination Clinic is scheduled to be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 17.

The LSE clinic will provide access to two immunizations:

1) TDap booster (tetanus , diphtheria, whooping cough) is required for incoming eighth-graders.

2) COVID-19 vaccine, available for anyone 12 and up.

August 17 is seventh- and eighth-grade registration day, but all students are welcome to take part in the vaccination clinic regardless of grade level.

You are urged to bring an insurance card if you plan to take part in the vaccination event. Anyone who needs consent needs to be with their parent or guardian or bring a consent form.
