Another COVID-19-related death has been reported by the Saline County Health Department.

According to the health department’s dashboard, the death raises the county’s total to 74 since the beginning of the pandemic.

There have been 3,851 total positive cases of the virus in the county, including 190 active cases- up 21 from Sunday, September 13. There have been 3,229 confirmed positive cases and 622 probable cases.

The county reports 34 positive cases in the last day; 185 in the last seven days; and 313 in the last 14 days.

By age group, the positive number of cases are: 734 in Under 20 group; 635 in 20 to 29; 601 in 30 to 39; 509 in 40 to 49; 492 in 50 to 59; 424 in 60 to 69; 275 in 70 to 79; and 181 in 80-plus.

Health department officials say free COVID-19 testing is available from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Katy Trail Community Health at 1825 South Atchison Avenue.
