A court proceeding for a 43-year-old Marshall man who was the subject of a manhunt following two shootings on October 2, 2019, in Saline County is set for this week.

Terrelle Palmer allegedly shot four people at two different residences. One of the victims died, and three others suffered injuries. The shootings led to a citywide lockdown. Palmer fled the area, and was apprehended in Mississippi on October 18.

Palmer is facing felony charges for first-degree murder; three counts for assault in the first degree or attempt; burglary in the first degree; endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree; unlawful possession of a firearm; and two counts of armed criminal action. Due to the severity of the charges, the court has ordered no bond, and Palmer remains in custody.
