Another COVID-19-related death has been reported is Saline County, raising its total to 75 since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the Saline County Health Department’s Dashboard, the active COVID-19 case count that was more than 200 in late September has fallen to under 70 in the county. There were 64 active cases as of Saturday, October 9.

There have been 4,134 total positive cases- up from 4,106 at last report. There have been 3,400 confirmed and 734 probable cases since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 48 positives in the last week and 113 positives in the last two weeks.

The total positive case count includes: 807 persons in the zero to 20 age group; 679 in 20 to 29; 649 in 30 to 39; 550 in 40 to 49; 527 in 50 to 59; 447 in 60 to 69; 293 in 70 to 79; and 182 in 80-plus.

Katy Trail Community Health is offering free COVID-19 testing from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at its office at 1825 South Atchison Avenue in Marshall.
