The Odessa Police Department has issued a traffic alert, effective on Saturday, October 16.

The 17th Annual Odessa Marching Invitational will kick off tomorrow morning with a parade through downtown Odessa beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Officials say roads are scheduled be closed in the area of Advanced Industries around First Street and Marlow, from 8 to 10:15 a.m.

Second Street will be closed for the parade from Main Street to College Street from 9 to 10 a.m.

Authorities said, “We are happy to support all of the bands participating. Let’s show everyone our hometown hospitality here in Odessa.”
