Area authorities responded to the report of a body in a river on Sunday, October 17.

According to a press release, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased subject located in the Missouri River on Copper Avenue at approximately 10:18 a.m.

The body is unidentified and has been released to the Saline County Coroner’s Office pending autopsy.
