Thomas C. “Tom” Vogl, 69 of Marshall, died Tuesday, October 19, at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 22, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 21, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall, with visitation following from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Burial with military rites will be held in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born September 10, 1952, in Marshall, he was the son of the late John Robert Vogl and Lydia Mae George Vogl. On April 21, 1973, he married Candace “Candy” Mumbrauer who preceded him in death on December 16, 2003. On March 12, 2016, he married Barbie Begotner Williams who survives of the home. He retired after 22 years with the Missouri Army National Guard and was a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558. He was also a mechanic, a jack of all trades and operated a fireworks stand. He enjoyed going to flea markets and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 876.

Tom is survived by his wife, Barbie; two daughters, Lisa Vogl Mullins (Duane) and Donna Weaver (Tobey) of Marshall; two stepchildren, Stephanie Dautenhahn (Artie) of Rolla, MO and Jason Williams of Marshall; five grandchildren, Abby Werges (Christian), Caleb Weaver, Jackson Mullins, Kyler Brady (Gideon) and Braxton Dautenhahn; two great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Quinton Werges; one sister, Marilyn Harris of Marshall; one brother, John “Champ” Vogl of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and first wife, Tom was preceded in death by one sister, Agnes Conrad; and three brothers, Terry Vogl in infancy, Bill Vogl and Bobby Vogl.
