Postponed a couple of times in the last few months, a sentencing hearing for a Boonville man who pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges for shooting at another vehicle on I-70 in Montgomery County in April 2020 is set for this week.

According to court documents, on March 18, Chad Michael Kennedy pleaded guilty to six counts of a Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon; three counts of a Felony for Assault or Attempt in the First Degree; and a Felony for Armed Criminal Action.

Kennedy was scheduled to be sentenced on June 17. However, the cause was continued for further discussions between the parties. Another hearing was held on July 22. Kennedy was then scheduled to be sentenced on August 23, but that hearing, too, was postponed. Now, Kennedy is scheduled to be sentenced at 10 a.m. Monday, October 25, at Montgomery County Circuit Court.
