Saline County Circuit Clerk Becky Uhlich was at the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, November 18, and gave an update on how long it is taking for residents who file to receive their passports.

In other news, Collector Cindi Sims asked commissioners to approve seasonal help for her office.

Commissioners approved the hiring of the seasonal employees.

Commissioners also noted the courthouse in Marshall will be closed Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26, in observance of Thanksgiving.
