Area authorities were dispatched to the report of an accidental shooting on Tuesday, November 23.

According to a release from Benton County Sheriff Eric Knox, at approximately 4:16 a.m. Benton County Central Dispatch received a call from an address in the Bent Tree Harbor subdivision in Warsaw, reporting an accidental shooting.

Deputies arrived on the scene to start life-saving measures on 28-year-old Tarah D. McIntyre, of the residence, but were unable to revive her.

Jason L. Kroenke, age 25, of the same residence, was taken into custody and placed on a 24-hour investigative hold while a further investigation is being conducted.
