Close to 400 positive COVID-19 cases were reported in Pettis County from January 3-10.

According to minutes from the Pettis County Task Force meeting this week, as of January 10, there were 9,052 positive cases reported as compared to 8,655 on January 3 and 8,400 on December 27.

The DHSS website is reporting Pettis County has a positivity rate of 25.5 percent for that seven-day period, which is an increase from 14.9 percent for the previous week with PCR testing.

During the most-recent counting period, there were 1,056 PCR tests and 662 antigen tests for a total of 1,718. The week previous, there were 1,342 tests.

The vaccine breakthrough ratio for the week of January 3-9 was 108 out of 401 cases for a rate of 26.9 percent. A vaccine breakthrough case is when someone contracts COVID-19, despite receiving the full course of the vaccine.

There were 15 positive individuals who had received boosters.
