A 24-year-old Sedalia man is facing felony charges after a reported incident on December 28, 2021.

According to a report from the Sedalia Police Department, officers responded to Econo Lodge on West Broadway Boulevard where a man said a white male had tried to stab him. The alleged perpetrator also is alleged to have been in one of the motel rooms without paying for it. The alleged victim described the suspect and the clothes he was wearing.

Authorities located a man meeting the description, and the alleged victim picked him out of a photo lineup. Also, the suspect was found to have a pocket knife in his possession when he was arrested.

Court documents say Logan Alexander is charged with felonies for burglary in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon- exhibiting. Bond reduction was amended from $10,000 to $5,000 cash or surety.

Alexander was arraigned on December 29. His next hearing is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 13, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
