The Boonville R-1 School Board is scheduled to hold an emergency meeting at 4:15 p.m. today (Tuesday, January 18), to discuss a possible transition to temporary virtual instruction due to illness and substitute shortage.

On Friday, January 14, the district announced an extension to the three-day weekend – declaring Tuesday, January 18, a snow-day. The extended break was implemented so school buildings could be thoroughly cleaned, in an effort to avoid spreading illness.

According to school officials, school session is scheduled to resume Wednesday, January 19.
