At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and the Sedalia Police Department’s Tactical Entry Unit served a search warrant at 204 Route H in Hughesville. This warrant was the culmination of a lengthy investigation into methamphetamine distribution throughout Pettis County.

According to a press release from Pettis County Sheriff Brad Anders, upon entry, SPD secured the residence and its occupants. A search resulted in approximately a half-pound of methamphetamine, numerous syringes, assorted drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun reported out of Sedalia being located. There was also approximately $1,200 in cash seized as possible proceeds from the distribution of methamphetamine.

Three persons were taken into custody, and formal charges are pending.

Per KMMO policy, the names of the persons arrested will not be released until formal charges are filed.
