The Department of Health and Senior Services reports Pettis County’s COVID-19 positive rate falls at 3.1 percent for the past week – with health officials reporting 18 cases between March 14 and Monday, March 21.

According to Pettis County Health Center officials, as of March 21, there were 11,930 positive cases reported as compared to 11,912 positive cases reported on March 14 and 11,882 positive cases reported on March 7. This is an increase of 18 cases in the past week and 48 cases in the past two weeks.

The case count per 100,000 for the past 7 days is 24/100,000. This week there were 358 PCR tests and 218 antigen tests for a total of 576. Last week there were 645 tests. At this time, the counts do not include home test results.

Health officials say two additional death has been report, bringing the county’s total is 157 since the beginning of the pandemic. There are no patients currently hospitalized nor on a ventilator – the second week in a row.
