Charged with multiple drug-related felonies after a traffic stop on April 27, a 36-year-old Sedalia woman has a court proceeding scheduled.

According to a probable-cause statement, Amanda Adams was pulled over, and a passenger consented to a personal search, but denied consent to a search of the vehicle. A Sedalia Police Department detective says he found a methamphetamine pipe on the passenger.

Authorities say a search of the vehicle revealed bottles containing hydrocodone and alprazolam pills, a syringe containing methamphetamine, some marijuana and empty baggies.

Court documents say Adams is charged with three counts of a felony for possession of a controlled substance. Bond was reduced from $75,000 to $25,000 cash or surety on June 9.

Adams’ next hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
