The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned general highway maintenance and construction work the in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of August 1-7.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

In Carroll County:
-Route Z is closed though mid-August for a slide repair project from Route C to County Road 217.
-Route V is closed through mid-September for a bridge replacement project at Miami Station Branch Bridge.
-Route 139 is scheduled to be narrowed to one lane from August 1-5 due to permit utility work from County Road 230 to County Road 210. The road will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone.
-Route B is scheduled to be closed for pothole patching from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily from August 1-5 from County Road 296 to County Road 263.

In Chariton County:
-U.S. Route 24 is scheduled to be narrowed to one lane for a bridge deck replacement project at the Palmer Creel Bridge through November.
-Route 129 is scheduled to be closed for pavement repair from Route P to Route D from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 1, and from Route D to Route O from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 2. Route 129 will also be closed from Route O to Route W from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 3.
-Route HH is scheduled to be closed for pavement repair from Route W to Route 129 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 4.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
