The Concordia Fall Festival runs September 6-10.

The festival started as a public Market Day in 1898, but has since evolved into a four-day, five-night celebration held the first week after Labor Day each September. The festival has a different theme each year. This year’s theme is “Where the Road Ends, the Fun Begins.”

The Concordia Fall Festival is set to begin at 6:30 Tuesday, September 6, with the Queen and Princess Contest at Concordia High School.

Tuesday, September 6:
6:30 p.m. – Queen and Princess Contest at Concordia High School Gym, 117 SW 11th Street.

Wednesday, September 7:
2:00-6:30 p.m. – Exhibit check in; Concordia Community Center, 802 S. Gorden Street

US ARMED FORCES APPRECIATION NIGHT
6:15 p.m. – VFW and American Legion present the colors and gun salute
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING – Kids Parade

NO wristbands Wednesday
7:00 p.m. – Washers Tournament; Heidelberg Gardens; register by 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, September 8:
10:00-6:00 p.m. — Exhibit viewing; Concordia Community Center
6:00-10:00 p.m. — Wristband Night

Friday, September 9:
9:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m. – Exhibit viewing; Concordia Community Center
1:30 p.m. – Kids Country Contests
5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. – Midway Open
7:30 p.m. – Concordia Comical Crew Parade

Saturday, September 10:
7:30 a.m. – Lutheran Bible Translators(LBT) 5K Registration – at Main Street Stage
8:00 a.m.- Lutheran Bible Translators(LBT) 5K race start
9:00 a.m. – Lutheran Bible Translators(LBT) 5K Award Ceremony at Main Street Stage
9:00-6:00 p.m. – Exhibit viewing; Concordia Community Center
9:30 a.m. – Baby Contest (Registration 9:00-9:30 am at Main Street Stage
10:00 a.m. – Motorcycle, Antique/Classic Car Registration
