Dennis Ray Evans, 58, of Mt. Leonard, MO, died Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born January 9, 1964, he was the son of the late Charles Jr. Evans and Erma Ballenger Evans who survives of Marshall.  Dennis lived in Saline County his entire life and had been employed at various places and was currently employed with Evans Lawn Care and Landscaping.  Dennis was an avid motorcyclist, and a member of Tommy’s Crew, as well as loved the outdoors.

In addition to his mother, Erma; he is survived by three children: Adam Evans (Kayla), Holly Evans, and Jordan Evans (Lacey), all of Marshall; nine grandchildren: Aria, Oakley, Ellie, Maverick, Aidan, Olivia, Aubrey, Rylee, and Finleigh; six siblings: Diane Evans of Marshall, Bobby Evans of Carrollton, Debbie Evans of Mt. Leonard, his twin, Denise Evans Johnson (Donnie Rehkop) of Sweet Springs, Jeanette Rigatti of Marshall, and Melissa Evans of Sweet Springs; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Charles Jr. Evans; one brother, Timothy Evans; a sister-in-law, Sherry Jones; and a nephew, Jaron Boren.
