The Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works approved a motion to request bids for a new half-ton pick-up truck for the Water Distribution department during its meeting on Thursday, November 1.

Underground Facilities Director Grant Piper said the current truck has approximately 90,000 miles and 5,000 engine hours.

The board approved the motion. In other news from the meeting, Water Treatment Director Travis Boss reported that bids for the filter media replacement project were opened on November 29, 2022.
