An 85-year-old Sedalia man was moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident in Pettis County on Friday, January 13, 2023.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Melvin Hansen left the roadway, began traveling in the ditch, became airborne over a culvert, and impacted the ground.

Hansen was transported by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.

The crash occurred at 12:39 p.m. on Route H in Pettis County.
