Paul Treyman Rapp, 76, of rural Slater, MO, died Monday, January 16, 2023, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2023, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson’s Foundation and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born June 24, 1946, in Kansas City, he was the son of the late Treyman Christy Rapp and Emile Louise Altergott Rapp.  Paul was raised in the Kansas City area where he graduated he graduated from Northeast High School in 1964.  On September 7, 1984, he married Carolyn Carter Kruger who survives of the home.  Paul’s entire career was spent as a cabinet maker, which he loved doing.  Some of his hobbies, in addition to his work, were hunting and playing pool.  He had lived in the rural Slater area, moving from Oak Grove, for the last 2 ½ years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall.

In addition to his wife, Carolyn; he is survived by their children, Christy Spartz (Mark McNemee) of Raymore, Bryan Rapp (Michelle) of Leeton, David Kruger (Kim) of rural Slater, Cheryl Willis (Rusty) of Marshall and Darryl Kruger (Pam) of rural Slater; 18 grandchildren: Kevin, Zakery and Tyler Rapp, Angi McGuire (David), James Kinney (Della) Casey Spartz (Lauren), Zachary Kruger (Alex), Keli Kruger, Emily Kruger, Niki Wright (Chase), Rachel Brunkhorst (Seth), Sara Hisle (Clayton), Caleb Willis (Stevie), Brad Kruger (Nicholette), Rebecca Davis (Justin Grandstaff), Amanda Lewis (Gail), Adam Kruger (Lisa), and Aryannah Kruger; 30 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Kenneth Rapp of Warrensburg, Bill Rapp (Debbie) of Waverly, and David Rapp (Melissa) of rural Warrensburg; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Darryck Kruger; and a son-in-law, Bruce Spartz.
