The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned general highway maintenance and construction work in Carroll and Chariton from May 29 to June 4.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map.

In Carroll County:
-Two bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled on U.S. 24 through June. One is on South Route 24, over U.S. 65, and the other is on the north and southbound U.S. 24/65 bridges over old U.S. Highway 24 and the BNSF railroad, just south of the Benton Street Bridge, through mid-July.
-South Route 24 over BNSF Railroad, east of the Highway 65 interchange is closed through September.
-South Route 24 over Little Wakenda Creek, east of Carrollton is closed through September.

In Chariton County:
-Route D is closed for a bridge replacement project at the East Fork of Bee Branch Bridge through mid-September.
-Route BB will have pothole patching from Route 11 to Whitham Avenue from May 30 to June 2.
Route PP is closed for a seal coat project from Route 129 to Muncas Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 31.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
