Several Glasgow Yellowjackets are expressing thanks for the opportunity to represent their school in state competition recently.

A number of students received recognition at last week’s board of education meeting for their accomplishments. Superintendent Stacey Kottman says that included their competitive cheer team that finished fifth.

Kottman says Glasgow was also represented at the state golf and cross country meets.

Glasgow will host its 94th annual invitational basketball tournament beginning Monday afternoon and lasting through Saturday, Dec. 7.
