The Pettis County Commission announced the allocations of the 2025 Pettis County Local Municipality Infrastructure Improvement Grant.

This program is funded through the Road & Bridge Sales Tax. The following municipalities have been awarded funding for their infrastructure initiatives:
-City of Green Ridge: $92,091
-City of La Monte: $174,000
-City of Houstonia: $57,875
-City of Sedalia: $450,000
-City of Smithton: $101,104
-Village of Hughesville: $52,499

These grants represent a total investment of $927,569 in local infrastructure. Projects funded through this program aim to enhance transportation safety, improve community connectivity, and support economic growth throughout Pettis County.
