A motorcycle wreck Tuesday, Feb. 17 in the Mora community sent a Sedalia man to hospital with moderate injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 36-year-old was driving his motorcycle north along Route U, when at around 11:40 a.m. his bike went off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert. He was thrown from the bike as a result of the crash, and taken to a Columbia hospital for treatment. Troopers say he was not wearing the proper safety gear at the time of the crash.
