
The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned a series of pavement repair projects scheduled to begin following Memorial Day.
In Johnson County, pavement work will take place on Missouri Route 23 beginning on Tuesday, with flagging operations in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.each day. The work will take place between Route CC and Route E on Tuesday, and between Route E and Northeast 500 Road on Wednesday and Thursday.
Pavement work is also scheduled on Missouri Route 127 in Pettis County, between Highway 50 and Route Y from Tuesday until Thursday. Similar work is taking place on Missouri Route 41 south in Saline County, between Missouri Route 240 and the Cooper County line from Tuesday until Thursday. Flagging operations will be in effect for both of these projects as well.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. All work is weather permitting.
