A Stover woman was taken to a Lake area hospital after suffering serious injury in a one vehicle crash Thursday, June 25 in Camden County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 65-year-old was driving south on Route 5 when just after 9 a.m., the left rear tire of her SUV blew out, causing the vehicle to skid. The SUV then went off the right side of the roadway north of Harvest Road, then returned the roadway before going off the left side of the roadway and striking a concrete bridge rail. The woman was taken to Lake Regional Hospital. Troopers say she had not been wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
