Sedalia Parks and Recreation has unveiled the planned opening date for the city’s new bowling alley.

Epple says crews continue to make progress on the new facility, which will have 16 bowling lanes and an eSports arena.

Epple adds that Memory Lanes’ first superintendent has been hired and will assume the role by the end of the month. The $8.3 million project has been largely funded with a $6 million gift by the Heckart Family Foundation. The remaining amount has been covered by a loan that revenue generated by the facility will go toward paying off.
