The Missouri State High School Activities Association is planning to host a Student Leadership Conference in November 2027.

Communications Director Andrew Kauffman says the conference is the brain child of the 20-member Student Advisory Committee.

The Student Advisory Committee has met since 2024.

The Student Leadership Conference was approved at last month’s MSHSAA Board of Directors meeting. Also last month, the board ratified the election results for three seats on the board. Supts. Rochel Daniels of North Kansas City and Josh Hoener of New Haven were re-elected to four year terms for their respective regions, while Ozark Schools Supt. Lori Wilson will serve the remaining year on the term for the Southwest District, following the retirement of Springfield Public Schools Activities Director Josh Scott.
