The Slater School Board has invited Matt Campbell to fill the remaining eight months of the term left vacant by the passing of Jason Stockman.

Supt. Dr Terry Lorenz tells KMMO News that the board met last week in special session to consider nominations. Lorenz says the board voted unanimously to offer the position to Campbell, which he has accepted. Campbell will serve until April 2027, when the seat is up for election to a full three-year term.
