The Warrensburg Police Department is conducting an investigation into the death of a University of Central Missouri student.

The department says officers were dispatched to the 900 block of South Holden Street the afternoon of Friday, August 28, for a possible cardiac arrest reported by a roommate. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male in his bedroom, later identified as Bailey Throssell. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
