The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct a series of road maintenance operations this week.

Seal coating work will take place on several routes in Johnson County, with flagging operations scheduled for each work zone from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work will take place on Route T and Route KK on Monday, Route UU on Tuesday, and Route OO on Wednesday. In Pettis County, culvert replacement work is scheduled on Route E between Mather Road and Maltsbarger Road on Monday. Pavement repair work is scheduled on Pettis County Route EE between Route HH and Hopewell Road on Tuesday. Both roadways will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drainage work is scheduled on South Outer Road (Old Highway 40) in Lafayette County between Route Y and Goose Creek Road on Monday. Culvert replacement work will also take place on Missouri Route 223 and Route 13 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bridge work is also planned on the Davis Creek Bridge in Saline County, leading to lane closures along Interstate 70 throughout the week. Lanes on eastbound I-70 will close on Monday and Tuesday, while the westbound lanes will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

All work is weather permitting.
