
City governments all over the KMMO listening area are meeting tonight for their first meetings in July.
The Concordia Board of Aldermen is meeting at 5 p.m. to consider an on-call agreement with SMICO Services for work on the city’s water and sewer systems.
The Sedalia City Council is meeting at 6:30 p.m. with plans to increase and amend the city’s 2025-2026 budget. The council also plans to authorize amendments to the design-build agreements for the North and Central Wastewater Treatment Plants facility plans. Another item the council plans to discuss is a mutual aid agreement with Whiteman Air Force Base for fire and emergency services.
Other city governments meeting tonight include the Higginsville Board of Aldermen and Carrollton Town Council at 6, and the Boonville City Council at 7.
