An area man reported to authorities that a vehicle recently was broken into on a property in the 1300 block of North Lexington Avenue in Marshall.
According to Marshall Police, the man said the break-in occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on April 27 and when arrived at work on the morning of April 30.
The driver’s-side back glass of the vehicle reportedly was shattered, and the man said several items had been stolen, including a tool bag, several keys and some change. The victim told authorities the keys were to different places at his residence in Sedalia.
The estimate of damage to the back glass is $250. An estimate of value of the other items allegedly stolen was not given in the report.
The investigation continues.
