During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, May 1, Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. talked about the commissioners attending a meeting the week before.
Guthrey said they held the meeting at Old Kinderhook at Camdenton.
Guthrey gave kudos to clerk Debbie Russell and sheriff Cindi Mullins for holding meetings once a month with employees about safety.
Guthrey read a letter from Connie Latimer, the county’s representative on the statewide board of trustees. She started by congratulating the commission for earning the award from the Missouri Rural Service Worker’s Compensation Insurance Trust for having an excellent safety-related year. Guthrey continued reading the letter…
Guthrey read more of the letter, which included Latimer saying “I was very pleased to see all three of you at our annual meeting last week. This kind of interest, effort and support is uncommon, and it makes me proud to represent you.”
