Ronald “Ronnie” Armor Bertz, age 74, a lifelong resident of Mayview, and currently residing in Higginsville, died Thursday, October 27, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 31, at First Baptist Church in Mayview. Burial will be in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home in Odessa. Memorials are suggested to the Marvin Chapel Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Virginia; Ronnie is survived by three children: Rhonda Barnes and husband, Bob, Greg Bertz and wife, Kim, and Harold Bertz and wife, Melisa, all of Mayview; seven grandchildren, Tim Barnes and wife, Kerri, Jamie Philipps and husband, Seth, Jillian, Abby, Alli, Molly and August Bertz; two great grandchildren, Kinley and Tucker Philipps.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Armor & Elizabeth (Moore) Bertz.
