A Cole Camp resident had to be flown from the scene of a traffic crash in Benton County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 45-year-old Timothy Kreisel, reportedly traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a utility pole, returned to the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway again and struck a tree.
Kreisel reportedly was flown by Life Flight Eagle helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash happened at about 3 a.m. on Kullman Road, north of Wilhusen Avenue.
