Three area schools are scheduled to be closed and several will have late starts today.
According to what has been called in to KMMO, Bright Beginnings Preschool in Marshall is closed today. Boonville R-1 and Hardeman R-10 Schools are closed today due to illness. Administrators also have reported that Hardeman R-10 also will be closed on Monday, January 15.
Late starts for today include: all of Marshal Public Schools, Hardin-Central, Malta Bend R-5, Santa Fe Elementary in Waverly, Slater Public Schools and Trinity Lutheran in Alma at 10 a.m. Also starting late will be Santa Fe High School in Alma at 10:15 a.m.
One other note, the Pettis County R-5 School District in Hughesville will start on time, but the busses in Houstonia and Hughesville will be running on snow routes only.
