A search for a man who reportedly fled from law enforcement on Saturday lasted about an hour and a half in Saline County.
According to a release from the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect, 26-year-old Matthew Stephen Harris, of Marshall, was taken into custody without incident just before 3:30 p.m.
Harris reportedly fled authorities just before 1 p.m., headed southbound on foot in the southern part of Saline County near the 74.4 mile marker on I-70, between Routes EE and YY.
According to more information provided by the sheriff’s department, Harris has one warrant out for his arrest in Saline County, as well as felony warrants out for his arrest out of other agencies.
