As part of a joint investigation by several area law-enforcement agencies, a Sedalia man reportedly was identified and arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs last year in Pettis County.
A probable-cause statement says on December 20, 2017, Sedalia Police officers with assistance from the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Highway Patrol, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of McVey Road. Reportedly, information was ascertained by authorities during an interview with a subject who named 31-year-old Charles Price as his alleged dealer.
During the search, Price, also known as “Polo”, was arrested, and a search of his residence allegedly revealed he was in possession of methamphetamine and various drug-distribution paraphernalia. Reportedly, a small child was noticed to be a resident of the home.
Online court documents say Price has been charged with two Class D Felonies for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid and Endangering the Welfare of a Child Involving Drugs in the First Degree. Bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Price’s initial hearing at Pettis County Circuit Court in Sedalia is pending.
